You need to follow a few simple directions in order to vote on-line for the 2011 inductees to Michigan Rock and Roll Legends and for the next ten Legendary Michigan Songs. Use the 2011 Artists and Songs Ballot on the left to select 10 eligible artists and 10 nominated songs.  IN ORDER FOR YOUR VOTE TO BE COUNTED, YOU MUST VOTE FOR 10.  If you want to just vote for ten artists and none of the songs that is fine.  You could also vote for ten songs and no artists if you so choose, but I'm hopeful that you care enough about Michigan music to vote for both.  USE THE SAMPLE BALLOT BELOW AS A GUIDE. Simply click on the official e-mail address: michrrleg@charter.net and send me your choices. 

To avoid any impropriety with the on-line ballots, please vote only one time.  The Artists and the Songs are separate categories, so you don't have to vote for a song by an artist that you voted for.  Please vote for only the artists and songs that are listed. Do not vote for more than 10 in either category.  All eligible email ballots for the 2011 vote must be sent between March 1, 2011, and 12:00 noon on June 1, 2011.   You will receive an on-line confirmation that your vote has been registered.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I am hoping to receive votes from people who love and/or have an interest in Michigan rock and roll music.  Please do not make a copy of your ballot and send it to friends who are then instructed to email it to me as a vote.  That is ballot stuffing and it cannot be allowed.   LET'S ALL TRY TO DO THINGS THE RIGHT WAY.  Please encourage any friends who are fans of Michigan rock and roll or other interested parties to go to the web site and make informed choices.  The sites listed under Links on the sidebar are great sources of information on Michigan artists and their music.

Your email ballot should look something like the example below:  Please include the artist's name if there is more than one nominated version of the song.
