Sending out a big thank you to the wonderful ladies of the Bay City Rollers Fan Club who donated a beautiful teakwood bench to the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame exhibit at the Historical Museum of Bay County. The bench contains a memorial plaque, featuring a quote from Eric Faulkner, that honors Bay City Rollers Day on August 24, 1977, the date the band visited Bay City. Among other interesting Rollers’ memorabilia, the museum’s exhibit displays cement casts of the four group members’ handprints and autographs, along with drummer Derek Longmuir’s Bay City citizenship proclamation and key to the city, presented to each band member on that memorable day.
